4/5 Newsletter Week of 12/9-12/13
**Bell ringer Schedule below:

We currently have no one to ring the bells from 6-7:30. If any family could take this spot, it would be appreciated!
**Book Fair is being held all week. Books may be purchased before or after school.
**Science Fair presentations will begin tomorrow and continue until Friday. All materials and boards to present should be in school today. We will display them at the Christmas Concert on Wednesday 12/18. After the concert, all items/boards should go home.
**Christmas Concert will be held Wednesday, December 18th at 6:30 in the church. Please, be at the church by 6:15 if you are a singer and 6:10 if you are in band.
**Monday, December 16th is a minimum day. Dismissal is at 11:45.
ELA- Students are working on Poetry pamphlets. They are due on Friday. They have constructed 4 different types of poems and will put them on a pamphlet document using Microsoft Publisher.
Math- We will spend the next two weeks exploring Geometry.
Science- Students took their bone test today. For the next week and a half, we will work in cooperative groups making catapults.
Religion- We will continue discussing Advent. Students wrote O Antiphon poems.
Social Studies- 5th grade needs to have their PowerPoint finished by Wednesday, December 18th. Students will put a voice over to go with the presentation.
